FIVE - Padel & Pickleball Club

Pickleball arrived in Rome through Frascati, where the New Country Club opened Italy's first dedicated courts in 2019 and still runs five. The bigger marker came in September 2025, when the Foro Italico hosted the European Pickleball Championships and Stadio Pietrangeli, normally a tennis showpiece, was striped as the central court for the weekend. Inside the city, growth has been slower than padel but real: Sporting Club Ostiense added four courts off Via del Mare, L18 Sport Village runs three in EUR, and Centro Sportivo Santa Maria put a court near the Colosseum.
