Top pickleball courts in Amsterdam

Pickleball in Amsterdam has a longer history than most European cities. The first ball on Dutch soil was struck on Java Island in 2013, and Amsterdam Pickleball Players has been running Sunday open play at Sportcentrum De Pijp since 2015, six courts taped onto a badminton hall in Lizzy Ansinghstraat. Amsterdam Racket Club in Buitenveldert added the city's first dedicated indoor courts inside its padel hall. The KNLTB took the sport under its wing on 1 January 2025, but the scene is still tiny next to padel.
