Top pickleball courts in Birmingham

Birmingham picked up pickleball quickly once the indoor money showed up. The Picklr opened Alabama's first major indoor club inside a 28,000-square-foot former Sprouts on Montgomery Highway in Vestavia Hills in March 2025, a few miles from Magic City Pickleball Club's smaller indoor room in Homewood. Public play centers on the ten free courts at City Walk BHAM under the I-59/20 bridges and Hoover's eight lighted courts at Veterans Park on Valleydale Road. George Ward keeps the older tennis-center crowd in the rotation.
