Stockholm sits at the centre of Swedish pickleball, a scene that grew in the slipstream of the country's padel build-out. Pickla Bromma opened in May 2024 as the city's first dedicated pickleball park, with four outdoor courts beside existing padel courts off Åkeshovsvägen. A larger Pickla followed in Solna Business Park in February 2025, with eight courts that hosted the WPC Europe Finals a month later. Most play still happens in the suburbs: Bromma, Solna, Täby, Sollentuna, Nacka, Åkersberga.
