Coleman A. Young Community Center

Pickleball in Detroit splits cleanly between long winters indoors and quick-warming outdoor seasons. Court4 Detroit runs ten climate-controlled courts inside a dome on Marseilles Street, the only setup of its kind inside the city. Palmer Park keeps six free outdoor courts on the north side with permanent nets, and Clark Park in Southwest Detroit added courts as part of its 2024 renovation. Beacon Park drops two lit courts onto Grand River each spring through Come Play Detroit. The APP Tour brings its first Detroit Open to Novi in August 2026.
