Top pickleball courts in Chicago

Chicago's pickleball boom has run straight into its winters. The Chicago Park District's 'Pickleball Mania' push is converting tennis courts and adding new ones across neighborhood parks, with a target of more than 100 courts citywide. Indoors, SPF in Lincoln Park opened in January 2024 with eight courts inside a 42,000 square foot space on Clybourn, and Big City Pickle runs venues in Fulton Market, the West Loop, and Lincoln Yards. Outdoor play stays busy from spring through fall, then the queues move inside.
