Top pickleball courts in Minneapolis

Minneapolis came to dedicated pickleball later than its suburbs, and it's been making up ground fast. The Park Board's first purpose-built courts opened at Lake Nokomis Community Center in July 2023, six outdoor courts that drew capacity crowds from day one. Loring Park added two downtown courts in 2024, and Dickman Park brought the same to Northeast that spring. Roughly fifteen other park locations carry striped lines on tennis surfaces. Long winters keep the indoor scene busy, from Lucky Shots in a converted Northeast warehouse to the seven-court Minneapolis Pickleball Club near U.S. Bank Stadium.
