The Royal Spanish Tennis Federation made pickleball an official discipline in 2023 and launched its national circuit at the Federación de Tenis de Madrid in June 2024. Two anchors carry the city: the Lafuente Pickleball Hub in Villaverde, ten indoor courts open around the clock, and the municipal Centro Deportivo Gallur in the Latina district, where fourteen outdoor courts opened on a public booking app. Club Deportivo Somontes runs an academy near El Pardo.
