Top pickleball courts in Tucson

Tucson built out pickleball at civic scale. Pima County's Kino Sports Complex runs 20 lighted dedicated courts on the south side, and the city converted Udall Park's tennis courts in 2021 into 18 pickleball courts (six indoor, twelve outdoor, free to play). Tucson Racquet & Fitness Club adds 22 more and hosts the World Pickleball Tour Tucson Open. Winter brings snowbirds and hour-long waits at the busiest parks. By June, regulars are on court before 7 a.m. or playing indoors.
