Pickleball Courts in Tokyo, JP

Tokyo went from zero dedicated pickleball courts to a real scene in roughly a year. Pacific Pickle Club opened at Ariake Urban Sports Park in October 2024 as the city's first dedicated venue, two rooftop courts began permanent play under Tokyo Tower in Minato in July 2025, and Pickleball One Ginza Shimbashi launched as Tokyo's first urban indoor club that November. Most weekly games still happen on badminton-lined gym floors like Minatoku Sports Center, by reservation. Ariake hosts the Pickleball Japan Federation Championships every December.
