Club520 Hwikyung Pickleball

Seoul has gone from a single dedicated court in early 2023 to a real pickleball city. In April 2026 the Seoul Metropolitan Government opened 14 dedicated courts at Gwangnaru Hangang Park along the Han River, lifting the public total to 22, with two-hour bookings at 8,000 won through the city reservation system. Before that, much of the scene grew out of three converted jokgu courts at Seoul Forest in Seongsu-dong, where regulars still set nets up most mornings. Indoor clubs like Club520 Hwikyung in Dongdaemun-gu and Spomotive fill in the winter months.
