Top pickleball courts in Honolulu

Honolulu treats pickleball seriously. The city's first dedicated complex opened at Keehi Lagoon Beach Park in July 2023, where four underused tennis courts were converted into 12 pickleball courts. Kailua District Park added four lit courts on the windward side, and smaller dedicated setups landed at Ka'ala in Wahiawa and Mother Waldron in Kaka'ako. Ala Moana remains the flashpoint, with three painted pickleball courts squeezed against ten tennis courts. In April 2025 the Hawaii Convention Center hosted the inaugural Hawaii Pacific Health ESPN Honolulu Open, drawing more than 1,000 players across 38 indoor courts.
